Skins Will Face Haverford in District 1 First Round

Sketchy details are floating in this morning, but the PIAA District 1 Office has confirmed that Neshaminy will play at Haverford this Tuesday, May 13 in the first round of the PIAA District 1 Tournament. There are 12 teams in the single-elimination field, and the top four seeds (Pennsbury, Christopher Dock, Tennent and Souderton) get byes. You can download the complete bracket from the District 1 website. Neshaminy has some familiarity with Haverford, having played them in the preseason and in the finals of the Reading H.S. Tournament on April 12. Haverford defeated the Skins in Reading, 2-0, in the best-of-three final.
