Pennsbury Sweeps Skins

(Varsity 7-6 Overall; 7-6 SOL National)
Determined to make it a very happy Senior Night for the Pennsbury boys volleyball team, Ryan Bigos and Tor Cavello -- two Division I college prospects -- powered the Falcons to a 3-0 sweep of Neshaminy on April 30th. Bigos was effective both as a hitter and server. An example of his jump-serving skills was his turning a 16-14 second-game advantage into a 21-14 edge on his wicked, dipping serves. The game scores for the night were 25-14, 25-18 and 25-9. Neshaminy hopes its Senior Night is just as satisfying ... the Skins host Abington tonight (May 1st) at Maple Point Middle School. The team's lone senior, setter Sam Ellis, will be honored. It's a big game for the teams -- Neshaminy is listed at 7-6 in the SOL (3rd place), and Abington is 6-7 (4th).
